Great food and great view from the porch. No problem parking. I had the special which was a haddock melt, but there is also a fried haddock sandwich on the regular menus
I love this place! We've been several times but our last visit we had a party of 11. Since they don't take reservations- we arrived by 5 and no problem- a short wait and they had a table for us. Our server was very attentive and efficient. The food was delicious.
Ate dinner on a Thursday evening. The place was 1/2 full, and based on some reviews we were expecting slow sub par service. What we got was immediate seating and drink orders, with a quick follow up for the food order. Service was great. Relative to the meal, we got the bruschetta as an appetizer, it was fresh and tasty. I ordered the Ribeye, which they were out of, so I got the Porterhouse with Fries, ordered medium rare, came closer to medium, and a little thin, but was very flavorful. My wife got the prime rib, which she ordered rare and that's how it came. She said it was very good. Overall a very good experience and we will be back.
Worth the year long wait... lovely service, fresh drinks, and fried clams too!! Fruits of the Forest pie a lovely cap to the evening. Yummm!!
